QR Codes. Have yours?
I’m sure you’ve seen them. But the important question is: are you using them to your advantage? QR Codes are bar codes that are embedded with your website address, contact information and/or other text. A potential customer or client simply scans the barcode using a barcode scanner app on their phone and VOILA, they are at your website or dialing your number in seconds. How cool is that?
Now let’s take it up a notch. QR codes are of particular interest in marketing because it gives you the ability to measure response rates with a high degree of precision thereby allowing for easier ROI (return on investment) calculation, and thus helping justify spending on marketing budgets. Now let’s think application. Envision billboard ads, guerilla marketing campaigns, in-store displays, event ticketing and tracking, trade-show management, business cards, print ads, contests, direct mail campaigns, websites, email marketing, couponing and my favorite part….SWAG.
