Arghhh!!!

If you’re anything like me…stress has a central place in your life. Which made me wonder: Do any of these stress toys really work to reduce stress? I looked into it and according to very important “research” when coupled with deep breathing, squeezing a stress toy leads to something called progressive relaxation. So the simple answer to my question is: Yes, they do! Now I'm thinking that these little handy items should have an important spot in my life and I'm assuming your life as well! Heck, maybe they should be in every boardroom, living room and (especially) CAR across America. Huh?!

Sometimes people just want random. I always say promotional items fall into two categories: 1) the immediate throw away, and 2) the stuff people hang on to because they feel guilty throwing it away and believe that they MIGHT use it in the future. How many ugly oversized tees do you have in your closet because you told yourself you’d wear them when you paint something?! Needless to say, I tend to steer clients toward #2. Some have inferred that perhaps it’s because I’m a frugal (I’ll omit some of the other adjectives) person. But even after relaying my stellar philosophy, sometimes people still just want things like….bugs! And no, they weren't exterminators. I guess you can never underestimate the desired “what the hell is this?” response!

WHOOPS...it happens!

Yep, this happens often to someone I know VERY well. Ahem...I won't mention names. I bought this person one of those Tide® stain sticks and trust me, it’s come in handy on more than one occasion. So I started thinking that these “stain sticks” would be a pretty smart giveaway because almost everyone could use them and I think they are very unlikely to end up in the trash! And isn’t that the point?!

YUM!

Just in time for Valentine's Day, we discovered this little gem of a gift during a recent tradeshow visit. The chocolate truffles were SO good that we made multiple visits to the booth and hoped they didn't recognize us as repeat-sample-takers. If you already have Valentine's Day squared away, there are other box designs available - leather boxes (faux leather for you PC'ers out there) and striped boxes that are perfect for, say, client thank you gifts!

Seemingly Organized

I love when things look organized. That's why I thought this find was too cool! These cable drop holders are about 1 1/8" in size and the adhesive backing allows you to stick them just about anywhere and in any pattern you see fit. I think it could end up being a well received and happily used giveaway under ANY circumstances!

PRODUCTS GALORE

My plan for this blog is to post cool product ideas whenever I come across them. Most of the time when I think something is really cool, I immediately wonder if it would really be considered an effective promotional item for a client. Sometimes the answer is “absolutely yes”, and sometimes the answer is “not even close”. But then I realized for blogging purposes it doesn’t matter, because I'm the boss! Case in point:

As the owner of a white purse, I thought this product was really smart! Apparently these purse hangers have been around for a while. However, if you saw the bottom of my white bag you would know that I wasn’t aware of their existence until now. And I hear they are now stronger than ever. I think these are a fabulous gift idea for girl-oriented events (no offense guys).
